Cat Bites

Written by Support on . Posted in Blog, Latest News

While they are cute, cat bites can present a myriad of medical issues.  People with cat bite are prone to severe bacterial infections present in the cat saliva, and also the shape of their teeth make the infection more deeply seated.  Rarely, cats can harbor tetanus and rabies.  Also, a more unusual manifestation of cat bite called cat scratch disease was seen here yesterday.  It is generally a good idea to have cat bites looked at medically as soon as possible to help prevent any complications.
