“Our study showed that healthier children’s menu options were ordered a lot more often when those options were more prevalent and prominent on kids’ menus, highlighting the promise of efforts to shift the status quo and make healthier options the new norm,” said study lead author Stephanie Anzman-Frasca. She is a research associate at Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston.”

What is Listeria? Recent Spread Makes News
There was a recent outbreak of listeria in a particular brand of ice cream. But, what is listeria?
Listeria-tainted ice cream is linked to a total of five illnesses and three deaths in Texas and Kansas from the Blue Bell brand and Sabra recalled 30,000 cases of classic hummus, because of listeria-contamination concerns.
Most people who eat food with listeria won’t become very ill. They’ll develop symptoms like have nausea, vomiting, muscle ache and diarrhea. Those with compromised immune systems and other complications can feel harsher effects, however.
